The trip has come to a close and I'm headed home building this page on the plane. I started the week off not knowing what to expect but was able to capture a fair share of Cayman Brac in the seven days I spent here. One great many great highlights was a photo shoot with a local pooch named Sharka. The icing on the cake was getting a chance to shoot for a few minutes with Sharka and his sister Choclate while they played for a few minutes on the beach. As for the amazing sunrises, the one to the left was the last I'd see in "The Brac".

The trip is beginning to wind down and tomorrow night is a night for packing so I don't know if I'll post anything else again until I return. I hope you've enjoyed what I posted and if all goes well tomorrow, I might have another big shoot to post. Click on the panorama image above to enter a basic gallery of stuff

Who ever said that photographers should continue to move and keep shooting wasn't kidding! I got to experience that first hand today. I had a full day of photos starting from a gorgeous sunrise and a hot tour of the east side of Cayman Brac. Beatuiful rock formations, bluffs, tide pools and water crashing on the surf.

So what do you think the shot on the left indicates? Click on it and figure it out from these new gallery shots. Maybe the picture below will give you an clue...

Out of sympathy for my friends and family in New York I've foregone the daily gallery and hope these images will comfort you. The shot above was sent to me from my buddy Skip in Albany. I really feel for you guys. The water was over 80 degrees again today and the chill you feel getting out makes you go bbbrrrrrrrrr! Wish you were here! Can you feel the warmth in these photos? I know I can! Miss You!

I've posted a second gallery. Now that I've gotten into some teaching I've tried to balance shooting, tanning and education. I looked around with more of a graphic eye today and you can see some of the pics by clicking on the building to the right. I had a second chance to shoot Sharka the Cayman wonder dog and got the right light and all shots I was looking for with the D70 and D2H, so click on the Sharka image to the left. So what about a Sharka Project 3? Stay tuned!

It's amazing here, all you have to do is "Just Breathe" and pace yourself.

Sharka is an incredible looking dog that is owned by Max, the head man in charge. Max had him out for a few minutes late on Sunday. I cranked off 200+ D2H pics of Sharka running in the ocean. Awesome stuff. The plan is to shoot Sharka again with the D70 and try to capture a shot of the dog jumping off of one of the dive piers at the Divi Tiara.

I made it to Cayman Brac late on the 12th. Not much to see but had a chance to meet some of the hotel staff and dive masters. Incredible would be an understatement if you were looking for a word to describe where I'm staying. I started shooting early on he 13th and I was hitting some nice images right away. The challenge will be to keep a good pace all week and not burn out. I'll be posting galleries all week long and take not of the shot below. The shot below is a view from my room. It's a hop to the pool and steps to the sand.
